Don Markham of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on June 20, 2010. He was born on July 27, 1937 in Silver Creek, New York. He joined the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1957 and retired in 1977. During that time he received many postings and travelled extensively to many places worldwide including Libya, Iceland, England and the US. In 1968 he completed a 12 month tour in Vietnam (Cam Ranh Bay). He lived both in the US and England where he met and married his wife Christine. In recent years Don was working as a Warranty Administrator for a Jaguar dealership. In his spare time, he loved to play golf and tend to his garden. He was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his loving wife Christine, his son Steven, his daughter Dee Condon, Son-in-Law Timothy and Brother-in-Law Colin.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Don's life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 12 Noon in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Gotha, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.
