

Donald Harold Fay, affectionately known as “Scooter” or “Scoot”, passed away July 4th, 2015 at the age of 71. He was born in Sydney, New York on December 5th, 1943 to the late Harold & Mildred (Hunt) Fay. They moved to Windermere, Florida in 1957 when Scooter was thirteen. And, in 1970, he married his beloved late wife, Mary.
Scooter served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force, and later went on to serve his community as a United States Postal Worker. Everybody knows he loved the Florida Gators, his dear church, Zellwood United Methodist Church and his beloved Mary, with whom he traveled all over the country in their motor home.
Scooter will be deeply missed by his brothers, Gerald Fay (Karen) & Douglas Fay (Marcia); his nieces, Kim Campbell, Bridgette Matthews, Kara Gelnett and his nephew, Kevin Fay.
A Celebration of Scooter’s Life will be held at 2pm, Friday, July 10th, 2015 at Zellwood United Methodist Church, 5538 Jones Ave. In lieu of flowers, Scooter requested that donations please be made to his beloved church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
