Donald was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. He was in the Navy for 10 years and traveled the World playing his beloved Jazz music. He moved to Delaware and became an officer at Bank of Delaware [now PNC]. In 1977, he moved to Florida and was employed at The Walt Disney World Company as a Computer Programmer, Sr. He retired in 2002 with 25 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Betty [Elizabeth] Stewart; two sons, Douglas [Sheree] and William [Jennifer]; brother, Paul in OK, 7 grand, 7 great-grands, Nieces and Nephews and his church family at Blessed Sacrament.
A public viewing will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, FL on Thursday, September 7th. Mass and a celebration of life will take place beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th Street, Clermont, FL 34711.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mike Conely Hospice House in Clermont, FL or the Alzheimer’s Association.
