She received her associate's degree from Morrisville College. She was married to Ernest Edwards on May 4, 1963. Doris had a career as an Administrative Assistant for General Electric. She was a member of the body of Christ and had a passion for the Salvation of the Jewish people.
A beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, and great grandmother; Doris was hospitable and caring to her family and friends. She truly transformed a house into an actual home filled with love, compassion, and unwavering faith in Christ. She was survived by her children Laura and Curtis Edwards; her grandchildren, Nathan and Adam Edwards; and her great grandchildren; Emmett, Clay, and Seth Edwards.
Although, she is greatly missed by those who loved her, we are comforted in knowing that she has reunited with her Lord and Savior, and the love of her life Ernest Edwards. We know that she was welcomed to heaven with open arms by them both.
