Doris E. Kennedy, age 83 of Orlando, FL, passed away on March 5, 2011 She was born on August 3, 1927 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and worked hard to provide a good home for her family. Her faith was important to her and she was a devout Catholic.
Doris is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Kennedy Sr.; her children: Edward Kennedy, Jr. and Lisa Ann (Ezzard) Samuels; her sisters, Jean Lee and Arlene Perras; her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Gotha, FL. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Orlando, FL. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in memory of Mrs. Kennedy.
