Earl Sylvanus Dunston

Earl was born on August 10, 1934 at home in Colonie, NY to the late Sylvanus and Mary Parker Dunston. He grew up in Colonie and graduated from Roessleville High School in 1953. After graduation Earl served in the United States Army and the Navy Reserve. Earl moved frequently while working for General Dynamics living in both Massachusetts and Mississippi. He was fondly known for his jokes and sense of humor, and enjoyed camping with his family and friends. After retirement, Earl moved to Florida where he lived happily until his passing with Linda Dunston.

Earl was the loving husband of Linda Dunston of Ocoee, Florida, father of Mark (Karen) Dunston, and grandfather to Ashleigh Dunston of Mississippi. He is also survived by his sister Donna Dunston Rejak and brother-in-law Sonny Rejak of Colonie, NY, brother John Dunston of Florida, sister-in-law Kathy Wells, several cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as canine companion, Precious; close friends Paul (Elaine) Gramaglia, Robert (Sue) Noren, and Elex Scroggins.

Earl was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Quick Dunston and his sister Crystal Dunston Williams of Schenectady, NY.
