Eddie Sanabria

Mr. Sanabria was born on November 5, 1928 in Puerto Rico. He moved to New York when he was about ten years of age where he lived in the Bronx. He met and married his wife Maria Chevres in 1955. He later moved to Miami to raise his family.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army and United States Air Force. While serving in the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Patrick Air Force Base and was stationed at Homestead Air Force Base during the Bay of Pigs. Eddie was also a private pilot and worked for Eastern Airlines as a radar and radio engineer.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Sanabria.

Survivors include his three loving sons, Eddie (Linda) Sanabria, Jr, Raymond Sanabria, and Robert (Gina) Sanabria; stepson Artie Chevres; brothers, John and Albert Sanabria; sister, Nilda Fitzpatrick; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow the funeral service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
