Edythe Marion Warren
January 30, 1937 – July 12, 2026
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Matthew 25:23
Edythe Marion Warren joined her Lord and Savior surrounded by family in Orlando, FL on July 12, 2026, at the age of 89.
Born in Vienna, Ohio, to George Albert and Marjorie Pearl (Cook) Clark, Edythe was the youngest daughter among ten children. She graduated from Vienna High School, carrying with her the faith, resilience, and steadfast spirit that would define the rest of her life.
She married the love of her life, Marshall Warren, beginning a marriage that spanned forty seven years and countless adventures. As an Air Force family, they built homes and lifelong friendships in Ohio, Mississippi, Arkansas, Michigan, North Carolina, and Florida, embracing each new chapter together before eventually putting down roots in Gotha, Florida, the place she proudly called home for many years.
Above every title she carried as wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, she was first and foremost a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Her faith was not simply something she believed. It was something she lived. She had a remarkable way of making Heaven feel close. Whether through hymns sung around the house or handwritten notes tucked into unexpected places, she constantly pointed those around her toward God’s promises. Her eyes would brighten whenever she spoke about the Lord, and that quiet joy became one of the greatest gifts she shared with everyone who knew her.
A faithful member of First Baptist Orlando, Edythe joyfully served in the Women’s Ministry, the Senior Ministry and sang for many years in the church choir. She especially cherished participating in the beloved Singing Christmas Trees, finding immense joy in worship through music.
She is now joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Marshall Warren, after twenty years apart, along with her parents, George and Marjorie Clark, and her nine beloved brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind a family who will carry her love and legacy forward: her daughter and son in law, Belinda and David Huang; her son and daughter in law, Tim and Amanda Warren; her grandchildren, Brandon, Kaydi, Missy, Emerie, and Marshall; great grandchildren Ty, Rory, CJ, Juliette, Arya, and Luke; sisters in law Lin and Mary, brothers in law Mike and Bill, and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and lifelong friends.
Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the assurance she held onto every day of her life, that this goodbye is only temporary. Edythe spent her life reminding us that Heaven was our true home. She sang about it, prayed for it, and looked forward to the day she would meet her Savior face to face. Now she is home at last, whole, joyful, and reunited with the love of her life. Until we meet again, we will carry her songs, her faith, her creativity, and her love in our hearts.
