Elinor Elizabeth Dorsey

She was born in Pikeville, Tennessee, on October 22, 1932, the 5th of 8 children to Frank and Nell Ferguson.

Preceding her in death were two husbands, Jack Worley and Jesse Dorsey, and her daughter, Frances Mooneyham.

Beth is survived by sister, Willa Mooneyham. Also survived by her children and stepchildren: Rhonda, Carl Von, John, Walter, Sue, and David.

Grandchildren: Stephanie, Vikki, Rachel, Amber Dawn, Carl Von Jr., John, Crystal, Scott, Kristine, Lisa, Adam, Keith, Amy and Jared; Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In her earlier years, she, alongside her husband Jack and children, owned and operated an automotive service station.

After Jacks passing, Beth married Jesse, and together they devoted their lives to serving their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through youth ministry outreach and fellowship.

Over the years, she was a member of New Testament Baptist, Walnut St. Baptist, Liberty Baptist, and Landmark Baptist Churches, where she was loved and adored by many “adopted” daughters, sons, and grandchildren along the way.

A funeral service for Beth will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church of Orlando, 744 N Dean Rd, Orlando, FL 32825. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
