She was born in North Plainfield, NJ on November 2, 1953.
Elissa graduated from North Plainfield High School and received an Associates of Science from Middlesex College.
She married Stephen "Steve" Neston on December 31, 1977.
Elissa had a career in X-Ray Technology for Jewett Orthopedic.
She was a member of St. Luke's Blessed Treasures Craft Group and had a passion for crafting, decorating, gardening, reading, being with her family, bird watching, boating, and walking the beach.
Elissa is survived by her husband, Steve; Children, Luke Neston, Gregory Neston, Kathleen Pratt, son in law, Hoku Pratt, and daughter in law, Erica Malmberg; grandchildren, Nico Neston, Kaia and Koda Pratt; and siblings, Jane Williams, Larry Kavanaugh, and Kevin Kavanaugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Evelyn Kavanaugh and sister, Mary Ellen Watson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on November 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
