Linda, my dearest mother and best friend, was born on September 18th, 1940, in Manilla, Philippines. She was the oldest of 6 siblings. Linda was born prior to the Japanese occupation of the islands, and her sister, Evelyn, was born during. Linda had 4 brothers, Richard, William, Victor and Christian, who were later born after the war.
As a child, she moved to the United States with her mom and siblings and lived in Colorado and New Mexico. It was in New Mexico where Linda met the love of her life, Gene Autry Queen. They later married and had their only son, Matthew Gene Queen, who was born at Kirtland Air Force in Albuquerque, NM.
Being a wife and mother were her proudest moments and to which she devoted all of her life to. Gene and Linda were married nearly 40 years and resided in Florida until both their passing.
Linda, a devoted wife, beloved mother, aunt, sister and friend to all who knew her, will be dearly missed.
