

HILTON, ERMA P, age 88, passed away on January 29, 2012 in Winter Park, FL. She was born in Perry, FL on September 8, 1923, daughter of the late James and Blanche Petty. She was employed as a credit manager for Ivey's department store and retired from Dillard's in 1991. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mizpah Chapter 190 for 64 years and held many offices, including; Worthy Matron in 2000, Grand Representative of South Carolina in Florida from 2001-2003 and was most recently Friends of the Worthy Grand Matron; Angel of Peace, Happy Hearts, Angel of Love and Notes of Love. She is preceded in death by her husband; Samuel S. Hilton. She is survived by her children;Sharon Strosnider, Gordon Hilton ( Sheila ) and Heather Diaz Granados ( Guillermo ), grandchildren;Ronnie Strosnider, Jimmy Strosnider, James Brandl, Conor Brandl, William Diaz Granados, Madison Diaz Granados, great-grandchildren; Amber, Bradi, Charlie, Sammy and Lilly, great-great-grandchild; McKaila. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 5 to 8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road. The funeral, with an Eastern Star service, will be held on Friday, 10 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow also at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
