Francis T. "Sonny" Moore, 86, of Orlando, Florida passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. Born in LaBelle, Florida on November 3, 1927 to his late parents, Elias & Ione Gwendolyn (Waldron) Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Army. Sonny spent most of his career life with DT&I working on the railroad, repairing its cars and tracks. He later transferred his service to Woodbury Road where he protected young students as a school crossing guard. In his spare time, Sonny enjoyed photography and always had an eye out for collecting coins and other small treasures that reflected his love for the railroad.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia Moore. He is survived by his wife, Louise Moore; children, Phyllis Moore Sonday, Francis Randall Moore, Martin Moore, Russell Moore and Ralph Moore; sister, Lenora Bricker; ten grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
