Frank was my crew chief in Okinawa in 1970.   He was wearing E-4 stripes at the time and got a lot of grief from the higher ups.  Turns out he had gotten promoted to E-5 but was never notified.  A big party followed, pig in the ground and everything!

Going to Frank and Yoshi's house and end up playing Ping pong against Yoshi until wee hours of the morning while Kathleen ,Frank and all the kids would be down in the basement sleeping around us while we playing. Working with Frank at the 5th Fighter Intercepter Squadron. Us local Boys had it down. Love u all. Sorry for your loss.

Cousin Frank,

You were such a kind and loving soul.  My favorite memory of you was when I boarded a Southwest flight to Chicago with a large group of friends from Valencia.  We were headed to the Food Show out there.  You and I gave each other a big hug and as we all buckled in and were set to take off you announced that you had a cousin on board.  Then you broke into song over the intercom.  (Of course it was a song from home.). You touched my heart and made us all smile through that flight.  Mahalo for your kindness and your big aloha spirit will be truly missed.

We will truly miss Uncle Frank. All of his visits home were so heartwarming to see how happy it made my grandma Barbara to see her older brother. How he’d be so happy and willing to play with mine and my sisters kids and take them down to the beach to swim, listen and talked stories with them even if they’d tell the same stories over and over to him. All the conversations and memories will absolutely be cherished. 

I am very sorry to hear of Frank's passing.  He was a great man, so  kind hearted and loved by many .Fly high beautiful Angel. 🙏♥️

Thank you for always supporting me and my family everytime we came out to Orlando Fl. My kids love traveling to Florida to visit you and the family. The hospitality and love you aunty Yoshie and family show us everytime we visit will always leave a lasting impression on us. Thank you for always supporting my kids sports and attending all there games. My family will miss you dearly,  I still can’t believe you are gone but we know you are smiling down on all of us. So humble and laid back, I wish I had more time with you but glad for the times we spent and the memories we have.  Aunty Yoshie, Raymond, Ahchan, Glenn and family we love you and will continue to pray for you all.  Aloha Uncle see you when I get there, please tell the family up there I said what’s up and kiss my grams for me 🙏🏾🤙🏾

Uncle Frank, you were the closest family to us. Always loving, caring, spoiling us and making good memories. I'm so thankful that my boys were able to meet you and love you the same way I did. You were so wonderful, so soft spoken and humble. You will be dearly missed by everyone who met you leaving behind a big space. Our hearts are heavy but we think you're watching over your family sitting at the beach with Moki and Yuri by your side. We'll see you again some day. Uncle Bear, i have a lot of memories of you. That time i got to sit on your lap in the reclining chair to watch TV in Rammstein, when i spilled all that popcorn on you while watching 1$ movies, then you getting chewed out by Auntie Yoshie in Japanese because we forget the time and therefore pick her up from work. Chuckling with Achan, Raymond and Glenn over your dinner music while eating. Setting up the Christmas tree in the driveway for that Ohana reunion Christmas 2014 and then the last time i got to see you home in Hawaii and intruduce you to Good stuff who called you Uncle „Fwank“, hanging around the beach and talking story. 
I‘m glad i had the chance to see you again and as Gustav said he thinks your sitting at the beach now and that‘s how i‘ll keep you in my memory. I‘ll see you some day until then Mahalo for everything you did for everyone you touched in life and being in mine.

And so it is that you are no longer in this World with us. You will be sorely missed by all who ever met you. You left a lasting impression on whoever came into contact with you. You were my hero even before you left to the Air Force and so I followed but into another branch of the military. So many memories I hold growing up with you, some funny and many happy ones.  I am happy to have spent what time we could with you and the family.  We wish we could have done even more. To Yoshie and the family we wish you strength and prayers in this time of sorrow. We wish we could be there for you.  See you on the other side one day my brother.

The last memorable time in Hawaii with Frank was on his  last night before he  had to return to Florida. We watched the sunset on the west coast of Hawaii Oahu . That was the night that he stated that We Are Family! We know that this is true because we are now grieving for him.  Our hearts have been forever touched . Frank will be very much missed and always remembered.

My dear brother Frank.  My heart is broken since you left us.  You were such a humble and thoughtful person who would give your shirt off to anyone who needed help.  Thank you for always being there for my son and his Ohana when they would travel to Florida.  God has gained a perfect Angel.  Deepest condolences to your beautiful wife Yoshi and your Ohana who will miss you dearly.  Rest In Peace and Love My brother.  Your dear sister Leio❤️❤️

Uncle Frank, you were an inspiration to me, my sisters, & cousins, we, all of your nieces & nephews, will always have a lasting & loving memory of the beautiful uncle that was a part of our lives growing up on the westside of Oahu ~ Nanakuli. I am so thankful more than ever that you were there at my Air Force retirement ceremony 2 years ago - a 35 year Air Force path am proud of to have followed in your footsteps.
