Garrison Frank Haak

It is in great sadness that the family of Garrison Frank Haak, 22 years old, who resided in Orlando, Florida since 2014, passed away Thursday November 23, 2017. He was born in Melrose Park, IL, the son of his loving mother Laura L. Haak (nee: Knapczyk), and beloved father Gary Haak.

Garrison was a wonderful, intelligent, courageous young man. He enjoyed professional competitive gaming, the study of cosmology, physics, and was fluent in Spanish. He was currently enrolled at Valencia community college in Orlando, FL.

Garrison is survived by his beloved parents Gary and Laura (nee: Knapczyk) Haak, he also leaves his maternal grandparents Frank and Barbara Knapczyk of Illinois, grandmother Marleen Haak of Illinois. He is also survived by his stepfather Donald Guzior, and his children Kyle, Rebecca, and Joey, and Aunt Gayle and Uncle Steve Jensen, Aunt Sheree Haak, Uncle Larry Haak, Aunt Debbie Teresi, Aunt Diana and dear cousins. He is also survived by dear close friends Ceara C. of Michigan, and Alejandro T. of Chicago, and many other dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 7, 2018 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle, Illinois 60532.
