Gary Robert Edwards “Bubba” was born on March 8, 1947 in Orlando Florida to Radford and Grace Edwards. He was a retired mail handler for the United States Postal Service with 27 years. Although his contract ended in 1969 he continued his service and dedication to his country through various military support organizations and events. One of his proudest moments was watching his daughter, Shannan, graduate from Army Basic Combat Training in 2016 becoming a family legacy.
Gary loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and riding his motorcycle. He took pride in perfecting his grilling techniques for all of his family, friends, and neighbors to savor. Gary was an avid supporter and member of the NRA. He thoroughly took pleasure in collecting, building, and operating various types of hand guns and rifles. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Of the 6 years he had been retired the past 4 were spent keeping busy with his best good friend Ollie.
