

Born on August 31, 1945, Gary proudly served in the United States Marine Corps before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. He worked briefly for Siemens, later retired from the Southwest Florida Water Management District, and spent eight years with Home Depot.
Gary enjoyed scalloping, traveling, gardening, solving puzzles, and spending time with his family. He especially loved staying involved in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he could always be counted on for a story, a joke, or a helping hand. Throughout his military career and retirement, crossing the US many times, he visited destinations across Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and South America creating memories and adventures with those he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann; his children, Diana, Nancy, and Anthony; his grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Chloe, and Kiara; and his great-grandchildren, Rylee, Isla, and David.
Gary was cremated at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida. In accordance with his wishes, he will be interred alongside his wife at a future date, when full military honors will be rendered.
