Georgina "Gina" Quinones, 92, of Sanford, Florida passed away on November 25, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 6, 1921 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico to the late Nickolas and Vasilia (Cruz) Quinones. Gina was a retired housekeeper in a hospital. Singing gave her much joy and was known for sewing and making quilts. She also spent many hours watching her spanish soap operas. Gina was a member of Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal M.I. in Sanford. She is preceded in death by her son, Israel Cortes. Survivors include her daughters, Edicta Gonzalez and Daisy Aviles-Cortes along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
