Jerry was born February 14, 1962, in Orlando, Florida to Luke and Ruth Dye.
He attended Evans High School. He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved to sing Karaoke and was part of several bands during his lifetime. He had a gift of making people laugh. He was quite a character at times. He loved his kids and grandkids more than life.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Luke Dye and Ruth Dye, brother, Bobby Dye, daughter, Jenifer Dye and stepson, Heath.
Survivors include daughter, Stefeny Dye and son, Jonathan Dye, sister, Lynn Butler (husband David), brothers, Tim Dye (wife Debbie) and Randy Dye (wife Vickie); Grandchildren, Haleigh, Ella, Caylee, RaeLynn, Gracie, Hayley, Great Granddaughter, Amorah.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Cremation Gardens, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 16, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
