Mrs. Geraldine Phillips Wise, 91, a resident of Luverne, Alabama and formerly of Winter Garden, Florida died Thursday, August 22, 2013 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 10 am, Monday, August 26, 2013 at the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park with Woodlawn Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Wise is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wise; her parents, Charles and Lula (Wood) Phillips; and her brother, Dr. Charles Ralton Phillips. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet A. and Lamar Penn; three grandchildren, Dawn (Arch) Stephens, Shawn (Angie) Penn, and Lance (Candi) Penn; three great grandchildren, Hannah Stephens, Mason Penn and Evan Penn; and a sister, Virginia (Robert) Wingfield.
