Grace was a gracious, lovely person with a beautiful alto singing voice.  She was a great wife to her husband and mother to her children.  Grace and her family became  an integral part of our Hiawassa Bible Chapel  Family.  We have fond memories of listening to Grace and her husband Rodney singing duets.

Our condolences to Roddy, Robert and Rene on the passing of their mom.  We also express our condolences to Uncle Eddie and his siblings on the passing of their sister. We remember Aunt Grace who was very kind and always complementary.  Her lovely smile always lit up the room she was in. She will always be loved and remembered.

Sis. Grace Horton was a very gracious, kind, respectful person. She had a quiet yet friendly manner and was a true Lady of the Word! She led by example while singing in our Alto line with the Gospel Heralds' Choir at Bethel Gospel Hall in Georgetown, Guyana. When we visited her home or the Georgetown Public Library where she worked, we saw her show those same sterling qualities which demanded our love and admiration. 
We will miss Sis. Grace, tremendously, from this side of heaven; but are encouraged that she is resting from her labor here and her works follow her (Revelations 14:13).
Our sincere condolences and prayers go out for her entire family, including Rodrick, Robert, Renee and Sis. Tessa Heywood at this very challenging time. Remember, weeping may last for a night but joy comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5).
May Sis. Grace's soul rest in peace and rise in glory!

Grace was a lovely lady who had a quiet winning personality.  She was well named.  Grace is a theological term that reminds us of the Divine provision for the operation of God's love through Jesus Christ on behalf of man, especially those who depend on Him.  Grace is what brought God's love down to man.  This lady not only experienced God's grace when she received Him as her Lord and Savior, but she continued to  "grow in the grace and knowledge of our (her) Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).   Grace had a beautiful alto singing voice.  She often sang duets with her late husband Rodney as well as singing in the choir at the Hiawassa Bible Chapel.  She was a blessing to those who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.  She is now absent from her body and present with her Lord and Savior.
