Grace Patricia Rothar

She attended the University of Maryland and obtained her BA before teaching math for 2 years in Baltimore County. She married her loving husband of 47 years, Dave Rothar, in 1956 and relocated to Orlando, Florida. She taught math for a year at Howard Jr. High and then went on to work at Martin Marietta as a Systems Engineer for 4.5 years. Grace attended Rollins College to earn her Master’s degree in guidance and became a Guidance Counselor at Pine Castle Elementary School for 14 years.

Grace is survived by: her two adopted children, Richard (Liz) of New Jersey, and Paige of Orlando; and her granddaughter, Julia.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00am, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
