Grace Frances Spivey

Grace F. Spivey, age 98, passed away peacefully September 25, 2025. She was born July 27, 1927 in Roscommon, Michigan to William and Beatrice Brower. As a child her family moved to Florida, California, and Michigan before she met her longtime friend and love J. Frank Spivey and married him on November 2, 1946. She had a great love for God, her family and her love of just being Grandma.

For many years she worked for the State of Florida Department of Alcohol and Tobacco. She also loved her work she did with the Order of the Eastern Star and her OES sisters and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents William and Beatrice Brower, her sisters Harriet, Mayme, Betty and Doris, Husband Frank Spivey.

She is survived by her son Jim Spivey, Daughter-In-Law, Pat and son John Spivey, her grandchildren, David Matthew, Glenn Spivey, Jennifer Dailey, Megan Spivey, and Elizabeth McCreery, great-grandchildren, Alec (Kayla), Ashleigh (Zach), Jarod, Jessica, Jorja, Aura and Jayson Spivey, Great-great-grandchildren, Aryanna Wilkes, Remi Spivey, Malena Grace Branning.

Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, October 11, 2025. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Service from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. followed by a committal service at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
