Age, 85, passed away June 3, 2015. He was born on November 29, 1929 in Bee County, Texas. After traveling the country and providing for his growing family with seasonal work, he decided to settle in Orlando in the early 1950’s to give his family a place to call home. The citrus industry gave him opportunity to do this and he continued his career as a truck driver/mechanic until his well-earned retirement. The loves of his life were his family and working in his garden where he enjoyed observing the wonders of nature. He is survived by his wife of more than 65 years, Oralia Salinas and his children, Luselda (Kevin) Lott, Rosa Poole, Armando Salinas, Lidia Quindardo, Irma (Gary) Hudson, Ricardo Salinas, Francisco Salinas and Rita Salinas; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Paula Trevino and Consuelo Martinez and two brothers, Trino Salinas and Ramon Salinas. He was, indeed, a special man, not only to his family, but to all that were fortunate enough to have crossed his path in this thing we call life. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him but will remain in our hearts until we meet again. There will be a viewing and celebration of life beginning at 12:00 on Monday, June 8.
