Hae Ja Ahn, 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on November 26, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in Seoul, South Korea on March 15, 1945. She married Young See Ahn on October 21, 1972. She was his greatest supporter and best friend. Together, they built a small business in Daytona and various locations around central Florida.
Hae Ja devoted her life to God serving faithfully. She was active in the church and served as a deacon. She was a member of Orlando KPCA. Hae Ja will be remembered as a devoted wife, beloved mother, doting grandmother, and loyal friend.
She blessed her family and friends with amazing home cooked meals. She enjoyed gardening and grew many of the vegetables she served in her delicious creations. She loved waking early before sunrise to exercise and occasionally embark on fishing trips to the ocean with family.
Hae Ja will be dearly missed by her husband, Young See Ahn and children: Sue Ahn, Dean Ahn, and Sean Ahn. Her beautiful legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jessica Song, Emily Song, Andrew Song, Aidan Ahn, Audrey Ahn and Abigail Ahn. She is survived by her brothers: Young Sun Kim, Young Ho Kim, and Young Chun Kim.
A public visitation for Hae will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A graveside committal will occur Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
