Born with a deep sense of duty and heart for adventure, Harley proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that instilled in him discipline, loyalty, and an enduring love for his fellow servicemen and women. During his time with the military reserves, Harley built a long and steady career with the United States Postal Service, where his dependability and friendly spirit were well known among colleagues and community members alike. He proudly retired from both the Reserves and the UNited States Postal Service.
Outside of work, Harley devoted himself to his family. He was a fixture at his children’s baseball games, serving as an umpire and cheering them on with pride from behind the plate. He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures — listening to old country music, spending time by the beach, camping under the stars, and exploring the world through cruises with family and friends.
A proud Mason and Shriner, Harley was also a long-time member of American Legion Post 286 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3496. He lived his life guided by the principles of brotherhood, charity, and service to others. His warmth, humor, and steady presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Harley’s legacy is one of love, integrity, and dedication — to his country, his community, and most of all, his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
