Helen Jean Hofmann, devoted wife mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on 9/09/2021. Helen had a long, slow decline from Alzheimer’s disease and was 71 years old when she died. She was born and raised in Rochester, New York and moved to the Orlando area in the Spring of 1977. Helen married Michael Hofmann in July of 1979. For three decades, Helen and her husband Mike helped thousands of customers keep their cars on the road as proud owners of an automotive repair shop called The Car Spa. Helen always took great care of her customers and vendors including baking thousands of homemade cookies every holiday season in an event she called the “Pillsbury Doughboy Day”. She personally distributed the cookies to business associates, friends and family. Helen’s spunky attitude and colorful language left a lasting impression on all who met her. She had a big heart and was always willing to help others in any way that she could. Helen and Mike collected images and artwork of turtles that numbered over 10,000 items which decorated every nook and cranky of their shared life. Helen is survived by her husband Mike, daughter Sandy Stock, son Rob Stock, step-daughter Missy Cefalo, granddaughter Sophia Cefalo and brother Alan Gleiner.
