Henry Harry A. Erbe Jr.

Henry (Harry) A. Erbe Jr., age 58, of Orlando, Fl. passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Thursday August 12, 2010, after a long and courageous battle against cancer. He was born on October 9, 1951 in Spring Lake, New Jersey to Cherrie Donaldson and Henry A. Erbe Sr. He attended Manasquan High School class of 1969. He then attended the Culinary Institute of America in New Haven, Ct. class of 1972. Before Harry became ill he worked for Sysco Food Services as Center of the Plate Specialist, which he loved. Harry was an avid golfer who also loved fishing, reading, gardening, and smoking cigars with family and friends. His love for life and his family was evident on how hard he fought to stay with us. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Harry was preceded in death by his mother Cherrie Donaldson Erbe and his brother Shawn Erbe. He is survived by his Father Henry A. Erbe Sr., Wife Dena Erbe, Daughters Heathermarie Collins, Michelle Caruso, Cassandra Musel, Son Harry Erbe, Sisters, Sherry Smith, Mary Theresa Cox, Colleen McGraw, Brothers, Kevin Erbe, Michael Erbe, Darren Erbe, and 8 Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 21, 2010 at 4:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A celebration of Harrys’ life will take place after the Memorial Service from 5-7pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in care of Dena Erbe at any branch of BB&T Bank, for the health, education and welfare of Harry's minor daughter, Cassandra Musel.
