Persaud Homdat, 74, of Apopka, Florida passed away on January 11, 2020. Mr. Persaud was born in Guyana on December 1, 1945 to the late Heera Persaud and Jasodra Persaud.

Mr. Persaud was a Teacher, and was retired from the banking industry.

He is survived by his loving wife Chandrawatti Persaud, daughter, Priya Darsani Mendez, two grandchildren and his siblings, Tilack Persaud, Mahashwar Persaud, Lekram Persaud, Rukmini Ramjit, Narashwar Persaud, Chandramattie Brijlall, Shanta Manhoralall, Rajendra Persaud, Mahandra Persaud, Chandradatt Persaud.

A vitiation will be held on Saturday January 18, 2020 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in the Grove, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, Florida 34734. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday January 19, 2020 from 8: 00am to 12:00pm in the Meadows at Woodlawn Funeral Home 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, Florida 34734.
