Jack was born in Kissimmee, Florida. He lived most of his life in Central Florida. He graduated from Colonial High School in 1962.
He started off as a manager at A & W (yes, the root beer people!) in high school. Later he became a printer for several years before he began taking classes to become an Orlando Firefighter. During his time as a fireman he worked many other part time jobs as a printer and an ambulance driver. He was also a part owner of T & G Fuel Oil Company with his buddy, Jim Turrisi. While working for Orlando Fire Department he was a firefighter, an engineer, and a lieutenant. He retired from OFD after 25 years of service. After retirement he continued to work at Home Depot, Tractor Supply and Mascotte Charter School in the lunchroom.
Jack loved music. Hymns, country and “oldies” were his favorites. Playing guitar was a favorite pastime. He also loved traveling, fishing and going out on the boat. He really loved his family. Being Papa was one of the best titles he received. The grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him great joy! Another one of his loves was his sweet Westie, Maggie Mae.
Jack loved Jesus and shared his faith with all of his family and friends… or anyone he could!
Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances; children Michele, Mike (Denise) and Steve; grandchildren JC, Tori, Bud, Emily and Daniel; great grandchildren Trentyn, Mattie, Hudson, AJ, Jaxen, Samantha, Rowynn, Sydney, Jake, Lyla, and Layla; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lorene Pelletier and his siblings, including his twin brother, Jean.
Jack will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
