Jaideo Persaud

Jaideo Persaud was born on January 7th,1935 to Ramroop and Etwaria Persaud of Mahaicony, Guyana. As a young boy, he was always adventurous and smart willed. He had 12 siblings, 7 sisters and 5 brothers. On June 5th,1955 he married Dhrigeshwari Gosain, they then had four children, three girls, Soma, Anna, Chandra (Baby) and one son, Sarvepaul. He worked very hard and became a successful business owner of Power Manufacturing. His hard work, determination and drive was the key to his success, he did everything in his power to keep his wife and his children happy and never wanted to see anyone unhappy, He was the definition of a content person, he always had a smile on his face and never let anything bring him down, he had 3 son-in laws Suresh, Johnny and Paul and he had four grandchildren, Ryan, Rohan, Shukrie and Nadia, additionally, he never wanted any of his grandchildren to call him Grandpa, he told his grandchildren to call him Daddy Jai or just Daddy. He always told everyone that he had 3 daughters and 1 son and 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. In his later years, he formed a unbreakable bond with his grandkids and had a name for each of them Ryan went by Googie, Rohan went by Ro-Can, Shukrie went by Shuks and Nadia went by Nads. There are and will always be dear memories that we will always hold close to our hearts and he will be dearly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and the entire family. He brought a smile to everyone he came into contact with and lived and happy and prosperous life, may he now rest in paradise and be omitted of all his pain, We love you.
