Jimmy was born on August 29, 1925 in Wetupka, Alabama, the son of the late William B. and Martha Jane (Harris) Jones. He served in the US Army and was a member of Church on the Drive. Jimmy had a passion for woodworking and his family.
He is survived by his four children; Patricia June Jones, Martha “Darlene” Jones, James H. “Chucky” Jones Jr. and Timothy Allyn Jones, his grandchildren; Darsha, Danny, JJ, Anthony, Nici, Chrissi, Christopher, Kyle, Ethan, Gabe, Rachel, Logan, Grayson, Weston, Rayelan and David II.
Visitation was held from 12 Noon to 1Pm on Thursday, April, 29, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha Fl. Funeral services followed at 1Pm, also at the funeral home. Committal services with military honors were rendered at Woodlawn Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
