James was born on September 21, 1967, in Champaign, Illinois and was raised in Apopka FL. He is survived by his mother Nancy Pridemore, sister Kim Mowry, and his wife Sara, along with other extended family and close friends.
James served in the U.S. Army from 1991-1999 and was a Signals Intelligence Analyst with the 138th Military Intelligence Company, Aerial Exploitation, a trained Persian Linguist and an Aircraft Crewmember.
James worked for AdventHealth for 38 years in In-Patient Pharmacy as a Technician, Clinical Technician and Pyxis Coordinator, then in the Risk Management Department as Risk Data and Patient Safety Manager.
He loved spending time with his mother, meeting for pizza and Skip-bo every Friday night. He was everything to her and was her rock.
He and Kim had a very close bond, sharing many travel and concert experiences. Kim remembers him always ready to help her even before being asked.
James was married to his best friend and soulmate Sara for almost 23 years. He was an uncommonly patient, loving, and gentle husband, always supportive of anything she wanted to do.
James had a love of all things Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, reading, studying languages, Legos, and card and board games, tracking everyone's wins and losses on an Excel spreadsheet.
Those that knew James would say he was always up for an adventure and willing to try anything. He traveled, hiked, and camped whenever he had the chance, his favorite location being out West.
James' sense of humor was unparalleled and unique. He was goofy, sarcastic and witty, entertaining everyone all the time.
His absence will be felt forever, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the USO in James' name.
