Jane Moffett Lowry

She was the daughter of Alton Thomas and Rhoda Mae Savage. She was preceded in death by her brother Alton Thomas Savage, Jr. She is survived by sisters Grace Hurley and Celeste Savage, and brothers John (Jack) Savage and James Savage.

Jane married William W. Lowry, Sr. 65 years ago on July 8, 1950. They have four children: Faye Stearns, Kaye (Bruce) Webster, William (Lisa) Lowry, Jr. and Violet (Neil) Rosenblit; six grandchildren: Sean Stearns, Jay Elliott, Charity Steinacker, Bruce Webster, Jr., Wesley Lowry, and Skye Lowry; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jane devoted her life to her Lord and Savior by working tirelessly in her church as a youth director, missionary chairman, and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed wrapping gifts at both the Hecht and Boscov's department stores. In addition, she worked for the Wicomico County Board of Education as a bus driver and special needs bus assistant.

A memorial service will be held December 15, 2015 at the Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, 620 W. Main St., Fruitland, Maryland.

Visitation will be at 4PM with the memorial service to follow.
