Janet S. Pierson, age 71, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012, in Lebanon, Tennessee, while surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1941, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Henry and Iva Busker. She was 1 of 7children. She married Gerald Lee Pierson, and was married for 27 years before his passing in 1983 Janet enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets. She was described as being a shy woman, with a beautiful smile
.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald, and her 4 siblings. She is survived by her children; Iva (and her husband, Dave) Burdette, Jerry (and his wife, Terry) Pierson, Jeff (and his wife, Donna) Pierson, and Ed (and his wife, Cindy) Pierson; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Durkin; and brother, Henry Busker.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 5, 2012, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL. 34734 / 407-293-1361), with a Graveside Service at 2:00 pm, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
