I remember one occasion Janie
's was in our home, (her brother and me). We had a southern meal and were eating leftovers that evening. Janie was getting some home grown white half runner beans, her mother was watching and said "Janie don't get all the beans". We have always laughed at the mother/daughter conversation. I married the youngest of the 9 children that Sylvia and Ellie Holcomb had. I have lots of precious memories of Janie and family.
Ray and I will be honoring Janie with Gideon bibles. Macedonia Baptist Church where Janie attended as a young girl will also honor Janie with Gideon Bibles. Ray and I attend church at Macedonia Baptist Church. Praying for the family. Love to all

I had fun doing several jobs for you over the years . You told me several stories about your family (first and second) and I feel like I know them all . I also knew Harry and your buddy Rudy . You always were in pain with your bad back but always had a smile . You were a great customer but more then that a true freind , such a good heart . I love you ! My memories make me laugh and think of the impact you had on so many lives.

Patty (Janie Rose's stepdaughter) and I want to express our condolences and let the family know how much we appreciate all that Janie did for Patty's dad, Harry, during the years they were married. This sweet lady was a godsend for the Rose family and Patty is so grateful for Janie loving and caring for Harry as she did. To the family, you have our deepest sympathies and our prayers that God will bless and comfort you in the days ahead.

Patty and I will be making a memorial contribution in Janie's memory to the Gideon's International for bibles to be placed in her honor wherever they are needed. We will always remember Janie.

Janie was a wonderful wife for my dad, Harry Rose. She and I shared the same birthday. Don't tell my brother, but I was her favorite stepson.

I love you, Janie.

Dear Aunt Janie and 1st Husband Uncle Richard provided me a place to live with them when I first moved to Florida, so long ago and treated me as a son to them. Their 5 kids, Debbie, Judy, Jeff, Rick, and Kim did the same and we had fantastic times, going fishing, skiing and just being a family..... Thank You all for so many precious memories. I will NEVER forget what they did for me.
