

She was united in holy matrimony to Stanley Ebanks in Jamaica West Indies 1948. This union was blessed with four children. Jean was employed at Lutheran Medical Center Brooklyn, NY in the Dietary Department until retirement. She then moved to Orlando, Florida to rest and relax in the “Florida Sunshine”.
Jean loved to cook; grow delicious fruits in her garden; watch Judge Judy and was the biggest Orlando Magic basketball fan. She enjoyed speaking to her family and friends on the phone and had a heart of gold, full of love for all.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband Stanley Ebanks; Son Tony Ebanks of Orlando, Florida; Daughter Yasmin Heron (Frank) of Orlando Florida Son Norman Ebanks (Fern) of Baldwin, NY; Daughter Debra Ebanks of Laurelton, NY; Brother Noel Chung (Beverly) of London, England; Sister Nora Chung of London, England; 1 deceased Brother Stanley Chung (Carmel); 1 deceased Sister Pearl Levy (deceased Charles) of Jamaica, West Indies; 9 Grandchildren, Scott Ebanks of New York State, Sannyu Heron of New Milford, New Jersey, Rahsan Heron of Orlando, Florida, Koenya Ebanks of Atlanta, Georgia, Tanjirene Ebanks of Boston Massachusetts, Alexandra Ebanks of Atlanta, Georgia, Lachauna Ebanks of New York, Akinola Ebanks of New York and Zenovia Ebanks; 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
