Jesse “Ray” Langford, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on January 28, 1941 to Robert “Arvil” and Ola (Moore) Langford in Heber Springs, Arkansas. During his enlistment in the United States Navy, Ray met his wife, Crispina Organo, in the Philippines. They were married on July16, 1969 in Quitman, Arkansas. After retiring from the Navy, Ray and Crispina moved to Conway, Arkansas to raise their family. Ray enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and watching sports.
Survivors include his wife, Crispina; his son, John Langford of Gallatin, Tennesse, a daughter, Mary Langford and her husband AJ Kantari of Orlando, Florida; three grandchildren, Reagan, Zakaria, and Sophia; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Robert and Jim Langford.
His immediate family will attend a private burial at the National Cemetery honoring veterans in Bushnell, Florida. A memorial service is planned for Ray on March 24, 2018 at 10 am at St. Joseph Church in Conway, Arkansas.
