October 29, 1937 – July 15, 2024
Our loving mother, Joan Elizabeth Hayes of Daytona Beach, FL passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, surrounded by close family.
Joan was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 29, 1937, the daughter of Howard and Carolyn (Nobis) Rudolph. It was there she met and married the love of her life for 57 years, William James Hayes, later having four daughters. In 1987, the couple moved from the Garden State to sunny Florida where they both resided until they passed.
Joan was a hands-on mom who was active in her children's activities and often the organizer. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she often expressed this through the time she spent with them, the care she provided, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
Joan’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her and her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family, a testament to the beautiful life she lived, and the countless lives she touched.
