What a beautiful celebration for a very beautiful lady. I'm sure she enjoyed every minute of it. We couldn't have asked for better neighbors and friends. Joanna will always be in our hearts.     With much love from the Torrico family.

I had the wonderful privilege of working with Joanna through the publishing process of her book - Minding My Keys and Pews. She was a such a pleasure to work with. I first met Joanna and her husband Hugh many years ago through my parents.  Years later, we were delighted to discover each other again while both working in music at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke - Episcopal, Orlando.  Joanna was a wonderful musician, writer, and family matriarch.  She was also a true friend who proved that to me several times by helping me to pack heavy books and music in the heat of August, driving her packed van to my home, bringing several of her grandchildren to me for music lessons, encouraging a neighbor of mine from her church to come to me for lessons -- on and on.  Joanna exuded sweetness, fun, confidence, and a surety in her Love of the Lord with her ready smile and welcoming hugs.  Joanna wrote the best Christmas letters about her family and activities. Condolences to Hugh and All of the Family! She will be missed here, and welcomed into the Heavenly choir!

We are all sad to say the earthly good-bye to our AGO colleague, Joanna.   Yet, we believe and know that she is in heaven now.   And, especially, we know that your family will be together again one day.   In the meantime, be gentle with yourselves and be aware of joys which do remain in the world.

Her light burned brightly and she will be missed. She was a delightful lady. Condolences to her family.

A beautiful lady and friend from Gator Band flute and piccolo section. May she rest in peace. Was so thrilled to pass on my flute and piccolo to her, and I think they got to visit UF again. Blessed be, Joanna. Will miss you.

I loved Aunt Joanna! She was extremely talented and raised equally talented, caring, and wonderful children! She and Uncle Hugh never forgot my birthdays and anniversaries every year! She will definitely be missed! Love to all of the kids and grandkids!

My deepest condolences.  She was a pillar of the Central Florida AGO and will be missed greatly. Her book is a wonderful inspiration to all who work for the church as an organist.

We cherish the time we spent with Joanna at Word Weavers. Lovely, gifted, caring with a delightful sense of humor. This is how Jim and I choose to remember our writing buddy. Comfort and peace be with Hugh and family. God bless.
