I have known Mr. Pinheiro for over 16 years, and the entire time he has been a model husband, father, grandfather, Christian and human being. I am listing few things I knew about him:
He was a great listener. Numerous times I shared personal concerns with him, and every time with his unshakable faith, he prayed and assured me that God would take care of it. And he was right, God listened and intervened. Through his calm and collected way of speaking faith into you, one could clearly see that he knew his God intimately and that he was speaking not just from the heart, but from experience.
He was genuine, sincere, honest and candid. He would not compromise his believes and values for acceptance.
He lived his life to the fullest and without fear. He was military soldier, then an officer an entrepreneur, and and immigrant. He was a master at reinventing himself and at adaptability. The top business consultants could take leadership lessons from him.
He was generous. His Accounting office existed to help people financially, emotionally and spiritually. It was a mixed of business, church and emotional clinic, where hundreds if not thousands found a safe place to cry, to mourn and to get healed. One would always leave his office better than when they walked in.
He was grateful. He never missed an opportunity to recognize how blessed his life was and to bless others. He once told me that a grateful heart was the key to happiness, because it transformed a meal into a feast, a house into a home and a friend into a brother.
He had many great qualities, but the ones that will always stand out to me was his love for his Savior and his family.
He will be missed! Joe Oliveira & family
