Joyce was born on February 6th, 1931 in Harlin, Kentucky.
Joyce married the love of her life, Charles Garner in 1947. The couple then had two children Ollie and Carol in Harlin, KY, then they moved to Lake Orion, MI and that is where Sandy and Catherine were born.
Joyce spent more 20 years in Lake Orion before relocating to Orlando, FL 40 years ago, to enjoy their retirement, in the sunshine.
Joyce was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family and was elated to be a grandmother to 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Joyce was known for her spunky, but also good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Charles Garner, devoted mother of Sandy Hunter, Catherine Garner, Ollie Garner, and Carol Ayala. She was also a devoted grandmother of Kelly Kim, Candace Garland, Selina Armstrong, Jared Ayala, Steven Ayala, Teresa Garner.
Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, on Saturday, March 24th. The viewing will be from 12pm-2pm and the Funeral Service is immediately following.
