

June Pauline Corbitt Flynn, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 18, 2012 from complications of dementia. She was born in Franklin County, Virginia on August 30, 1928 but moved to the Orlando area when she was 16. After marrying Raymond Flynn she spent 5 years in Kentucky and 6 years in Miami before moving back to the Orlando area where she has lived ever since. She was a lifelong member of College Park Baptist Church where she lived until moving to Winter Garden 3 years ago. She worked for Walgreens Drug Store for over 20 years as their fulltime cosmetician and always loved making sure she looked her best. She was a wonderful and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved to do needlework and spend time in her beautiful North Georgia mts. where she and her husband Raymond spent many vacations together until his passing in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Virginia Flynn Curtis of Winter Garden and her two deaf sons Robert Flynn (Orlando) and Gregory Flynn (Apopka). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 precious great grandchildren with 2 more expected soon , as well as several nieces and nephews who remembered her as their favorite aunt. She has left a special "legacy" and will be loved and missed more than can be expressed. A viewing will be this Saturday, July 21 at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
