June Ann Roads

June Ann Roads went home to be with the Lord on Palm Sunday, March 20, 2016. June was born on June 29, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, and lived the last 25 years with her husband, Bob, in Ocoee, Florida. June was a remarkable woman who enjoyed a long productive life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Although small in stature, June was a spiritual giant. She was an accomplished church organist who loved music. Her favorite moments included singing and listening to her favorite hymns. She was passionate about supporting missions and world evangelism. June graduated from high school at the age of 16 and worked at Sherwin Williams where she met her husband, Bob. She and Bob were married 67 years. June had a profound influence on her family who loved her dearly. She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughters, Judith, Debra and Laurel, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services are at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, Gotha, followed by a private family burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Bible Society.
