Karen J. Phinney, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was born on October 26, 1941 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Henry William and Ethel (Anderson) Ruddick. Karen was a retired shuttle driver for Avis Rental Car. She enjoyed gardening, raising orchids, ceramics, baking and was amazing at homemaking. Mrs. Phinney was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Orlando. Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert; son Timothy and daughter-in-law Kathy of Kissimmee; daughter Lisa Ann of Orlando & grandson Billy James of Kissimmee. Viewing will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home and funeral services will be on March 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m at the funeral home.
