Kit lived in Trinidad and worked as a petroleum engineer at Texaco until 1968 when he made the bold decision to move to Canada. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life as that is where he met his wife, Jagdaye. Kit and Jagdaye married on January 11, 1972, and they went on to have four remarkable children. Kit went on to work with Haliburton. While employed by Haliburton, Kit was able to travel the world with his family by his side. They were able to experience amazing world travels and incredible adventures as a family which left memorable experiences for all. Kit and his family lived and traveled to Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan, Canada, Africa, Europe, and finally settling in Florida.
Kit relished in spending time with his family, growing plants, helping people, and treasured being outside and surrounded by birds and his grand and great- grandchildren. One of his favorite things to do was to sit with his grandchildren and tell them stories and talk to them about values, culture and the importance of family. He had such a passion for reading, world history, watching westerns, and wearing his cowboy boots and hat. One of the proudest moments in his life was the day he became an American citizen.
Kit was a kind soul who offered help to anyone who needed it. He loved to give a “helping hand” to others. He also loved the Western life. You could never ever catch him not wearing his cowboy boots! We believe he was the last man in America that wore “Old Spice”.
He momentously loved each one of his grandchildren & great-grandchildren and he spoke about them every chance he got. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
