It is with a heavy heart, yet a lifetime of beautiful memories, that we share the passing of a truly beautiful soul. Kristin Chung passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, surrounded by her boys and family.
After a brave four-year battle with cancer, she is finally at peace and pain-free. Kristin was a guiding light to so many, a cornerstone of love in her community, and someone who always put others first. Service and volunteering were her passions and how she led her life. Above all, being a mother was her greatest joy, and her sons were the center of her universe. She was the anchor of her family and the glue that held everyone together.
Kristin leaves behind her husband, Kai-Wei Chung; her two beloved sons, AJ and Aaron Chung; her devoted parents, Marvin and Janet Missig; and her brother, David Missig and family. The immense love she received throughout her journey reflects how deeply she was cherished. As we begin to pick up the pieces of our shattered hearts, may we find comfort in her memory and the beautiful light she brought to our lives.
We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her life and legacy.
