It has been more than 25 yrs since I last saw Uncle Leon, but as a child I can think of few other men as grand, as pleasant and loving as Uncle Leon was.  He always had time to play and as I was very young when I saw him, that at the time was the most important.  I will miss him.

Sister Jones and family, We are so sorry for the loss of Bro. Jones. He holds a very dear place in our hearts and we'll be united with him again one day. We love and miss you.

Dear Sis. Betty, Bruce and Kim...I was saddened to hear about Bro. Leon, but know he is happy to be home with the Lord and so many friends and family who have gone on before him.  I remember his beautiful smile as he led singing at Calvary when I was young, and you playing the piano Sis. Betty.  Those are fond memories to be treasured.  It is awesome to know his dedication to the church was so steadfast..you don't see that very often and it speaks a great deal of him.  He has no doubt found my Uncle Roger Cox and they are laughing and singing together.  I pray that your long happy years together and the wonderful memories made will help to comfort you now at this sad time. With Love and Sympathy,

Brother Jones was a great person and a christian. He did almost everything you can do in Calvary Baptist Church God bless. My prayers are with the family. It is hard to lose a husband, and a parent, but he's in a better place, no pain no worries anymore.

Uncle Leon, you could light up a room just by walking in. You always knew just what to say to make me feel loved, appreciated and special. I will miss you but am glad that I have an angel like you looking down on me to keep my head up and my spirits lifted. Betty & Kids,
We are so very sad and sorry about Leon. I just want you all to know how much he meant to me. I went to Wilmot High School with Leon and he was always such a nice and considerate person. He could not do enough for you. He was always the first person in class to offer to help out in any way or occasion. Then, in later years as we met again in class reunions with Leon and Betty, Leon worked hardest to accomomodate everyone. He would seek you out to talk about me and my Family. He loved his Family dearly. 
Leon was a Christian and I know we will meet again up there.
May God grant you all some comfort during this difficult time of your loss.
