Lilawati Rupsen, 56, passed away on December 12, 2011. Lilawati was born in Guyana. She was a member of Zion New Life Lutheran Church in Winter Garden, Florida. She was a spanish teacher and worked at many schools during her career, to include; Ocoee High School, Florida, C.I. Gibson High School, Bahamas, Clarendon College, Jamaica and North Georgetown Secondary School in Guyana. Lilawati is survived by her mother, her son John Husain, grandson, Justin, sisters Liz and Violet and her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawm Cemetery Road, on Thursday, December 15, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Funeral services will take place on Friday, 11am at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
