Lilia Martinez (89) passed away on March 17, 2012 surrounded by the 4 things she loved most in this world – her husband of more than 60 years, Oscar Martinez; her three children Lili Martinez Endler (Mick); Betty Martinez Lowery (Darrell) and Oscar Martinez, Jr. (Carlotta); her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. Lilia, along with her family, fled Cuba in 1962 becoming a proud US citizen in 1968. Affectionately known as “Mima”, she was adored by all who knew her. She leaves a legacy of love and joy that will endure. Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. A small private service will be observed by the family in her memory on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734.
